HMM has an 18 hole putting green which has proved very popular with all age groups.

There are no age restrictions for the use of the putting green so the whole family can enjoy the experience.

If rowing seems a little strenuous, or you would just like the time to look and listen, Then take a trip on our open air tour boat.

The boat runs with a minimum of six people and you pay on the boat. The trip takes you on a journey round the outskirts of the lake. An experience well worth the effort and the cost.

The Mere has a host of wild fowl. If you are an ornithologist there is a lot of scope including the odd rare bird blown in from the continent.

However most people like to see the geese and swans and to feed them. Packets of corn are available at the shop and cafe. A great experience for young and old alike.

There is a cafe on site that will provide you with a refreshing cup of tea or a hot meal.

If you just want some refreshment in the open air then try our Ice cream counter or teas to takeout.
